Aarthi is a rising junior at High Technology High School, a pre-engineering academy with a strong emphasis on STEM education. Driven by a deep passion for Environmental Science, she has focused her efforts on addressing the impending water crisis. Utilizing the principles of spectrophotometry, Aarthi has investigated natural, cost-effective solutions to pharmaceutical contamination in water. Her research has earned her awards at regional, state, and tri state levels as well as being awarded to be a delegate to the American Junior Academy of Science. She has additionally been invited to professional water-related conferences affiliated with the WEF.

Beyond her scientific pursuits, Aarthi is interested in videography, and has achieved national recognition for her skills. In her free time, she blogs about emerging environmental technologies and issues, attracting a growing followership. As an active member of her school's VEX robotics team, Aarthi aspires to develop technology that will positively impact the environment, an option being through machine learning!
